About Unity Edge Sports
Unity Edge Sports was created to provide inclusive sports experiences for youth who benefit from supportive and structured physical activity.
Our sessions focus on participation, confidence, and enjoyment rather than competition. Activities are adapted so that all participants can engage at their own pace and ability level.
The goal is simple:
To help youth stay active, build confidence, and enjoy sports in a welcoming environment.
Programs are designed for small groups and are ideal for schools, youth programs, therapy centers, and community organizations.
Adaptive Basketball Recreation Sessions
Unity Edge Sports offers structured basketball sessions that emphasize movement, teamwork, and skill-building in a supportive setting.
Sessions include:
• Simple warm-up activities
• Dribbling, passing, and shooting games
• Skill-building stations
• Small group basketball games
• Positive wrap-up activities
The focus is always on participation, encouragement, and creating a positive experience for every participant.
Sessions are adaptable depending on the needs and abilities of the group.

Age Range: Youth ages 8 – 18 (adaptable depending on program needs)
Group Size: Typically 6 – 12 participants
Support staff from the organization or school are encouraged to be present during sessions to assist participants when needed.
Program Format
Sessions typically run 45–60 minutes and follow a structured format designed to keep participants engaged and comfortable.

Welcome & warm-up activity
Basketball skill games
Small group stations
Simple team games

Activities are adapted based on the needs of the group to ensure everyone can participate.
Programs can be delivered:
• At your school or organization
• At a gym facility
Free Pilot Session Available
Unity Edge Sports currently offers a free pilot session for organizations interested in exploring inclusive sports programming.
The pilot session allows your group to experience the program before committing to ongoing sessions.
After the pilot session, organizations may choose to book weekly or recurring sessions.
